This small sculpture was created as one of several pieces designed for the Dallas Holocaust Museum.
The symbolism of the butterfly formed out of metal combines a beauty and freedom of a butterfly and the iron will and strength of metal.
Together this sculptures is a metaphor for the strength to survive a global tragedy as the holocaust and the beauty necessary to keep our humanity.
